As part of the Wesson Garden Club’s (WGC) Community Outreach program, it has started a partnership with Co-Lin.

The college and the garden club will work together on several projects throughout the coming year.

In July, WGC assisted Jacob Prisock, CLCC’s landscaper, in placing new plants in front of the Fortenberry Building adjacent to the football field. Members of WGC alongside Co-Lin staff members planted 154 shrubs and perennials, transforming the front of the Fortenberry Building into a beautiful landscape.

The partnership is off to a great start, the Garden Club affirms, and WGC is looking forward to a long and continuing relationship with Co-Lin. WGC appreciates the work of those who have shaped the collaborative event.

Wesson Garden Club is a member of the Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc. and The National Garden Clubs, Inc.
