The Rally on the Runway – an annual event to introduce locals to Copiah County Airport – will be November 15.
This year, motorcyclists as well as pilots will be on hand with the food – BBQ chicken plates for $10 -- to lure folk to the airport to learn about it’s importance to Copiah County and shop in a market in which vendors
bring varied goods.
Copiah County Airport is a mecca for pilots due to the reasonable fuel costs and location. On any day at the airport, you can meet people there from across the United States and North America who may want to do business with you.
In the past, the airport day has featured a fly-in for pilots across the continent to show off their aircraft and mingle with locals who appreciate what they see. This year a motorcycle rally will coincide with the fly-in and market.
There is no entry fee for the popular event.
