Five Co-Lin Workforce Education Division students have completed the eleventh Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) not-credit training program at the college.

Ta’Kyla Brothern, Malorie Carlisle, Evonnie Owens, Ineisha Pendleton and Chiquita Rancifer demonstrated outstanding dedication and skills proficiency in their successful program work.

During the intensive six-month CCMA program, conducted at the Wesson Campus, participants acquired a comprehensive skill set, including medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, infection control, patient care coordination and medical law and ethics.

Hands-on learning experiences, including computer lab studies and clinical rotations, further prepared them to excel in medical assisting roles.

The next session of CCMA training is scheduled to commence on August 5, 2024. Applications are due July 22, 2024.
