Co-Lin plans annual Trunk or Treat
Wesson News

Co-Lin is planning its annual community Trunk or Treat. Set for Tuesday, October 27, the event will be open to the public from 5 until 6:30 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Disney,” and the college is inviting local clubs, organizations and departments to participate. The organizers say their goal for the event, now in its third year, is to create a fun, safe evening for the community while giving them an opportunity to interact with the people and programs that make Co-Lin special.
The college says that each year’s turnout has increased, with the 2026 event expected to draw 200 to 250 people. Participating groups are asked to begin setting up at 4p.m. at the horseshoe-shaped end of the BSU parking lot. The entrance will be roped off for safety. There will be no assigned spaces; participants will line up in the horseshoe as they arrive. Those who would like electricity for their trunk or treat setup are asked to contact the organizers as soon as possible, in order for it to be arranged.
The event is free to the community, and kids are invited to dress up and come with their families for a safe and fun night of candy, costumes and community.
