Co-Lin radiography students earn top awards at MSRT conference

Students from the Medical Radiologic Technology Program at Copiah-Lincoln Community College recently competed at the 83rd annual Mississippi Society of Radiologic Technologists (MSRT) Conference.


Co-Lin students brought home three awards in the student exhibit competition:

  • 1st place - “Radiography & Mental Disorders” by Alyzabeth Johnson of Florence and Paisley Tew of Brandon

  • 3rd place - “The Use of Fluoroscopy in Diagnosing Swallowing Disorders“ by Savana Barclay of McComb, Mackenzie Deer of Summit & Corby Husser of Brookhaven   

  • People’s Choice - “Emergency” by Ellie Davis of Ruth, Abbey Hemphill of Brandon, & Ally Sullivan of Wesson


Additionally, Tameron Nealy of Bogue Chitto was chosen as a recipient of the MSRT student scholarship. Ally Sullivan of Wesson won the conference art competition for the second year in a row.


Co-Lin Program Director Kelly Fenwick of Bogue Chitto was named the 2025 MSRT Technologist of the Year.
