Free Community Resource Event for Copiah Residents

Copiah residents are invited to attend a free Community Resource Event at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Copiah County Medical Center. The medical center is located at 27190 Highway 28 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.  Event attendees will have a chance to win a $100 gift card. Participants must be present to qualify for the giveaway.

Hosted in partnership with the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and Copiah County Medical Center, the event is designed to connect residents with valuable local resources and health information that support individuals and families across the community.

Attendees will have access to educational resources, community vendors, wellness activities, mental health information, and refreshments. This event is designed to bring people together and making sure communities know what resources are available to support their health and well-being.  Residents are encouraged to come out, connect and take advantage of the information and services available.
