Garden Club and Butterbeans collaborate on flower arrangements

To commemorate National Garden Club Week, June 7-13, 2026, the Wesson Garden Club and the Butterbeans youth gardening group collaborated on a flower arrangement workshop at the Wesson Library Pavilion.  The workshop highlighted the three essential design elements: thriller, filler and spiller.

The finished arrangements were distributed to local businesses.

In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, the club incorporated patriotic red, white and blue containers into the designs. The Wesson Garden Club extends thanks to the Wesson Library for providing the use of their facilities.
