Mimi’s Musings: September Heat

Will this heat ever subside?

Is it global warming, or is it because we have become best friends with our air conditioning?

I know I have. I have a deep and personal relationship with mine, and, while I’m at it, also my ceiling fan.

The air conditioner in my car is so amazing, I often wonder how I have sometimes lived without one. I almost bought a different car one time because it had great A/C. But, I came to my senses and had the one in my car fixed.

Who wants to get dolled up and get in a hot car? Not this girl!

Seriously though, do school buses have air conditioning? I see buses with the windows down, so I’m guessing they don’t.

I remember when I was in elementary school, we had the windows down in the classroom. We had no A/C.

There was a girl who lived down the street from the school. The open window was her escape. She snuck out and ran home so many times. If I had been brave like her, I would have too.

All that to say, come on fall weather!
