She will always be remembered for her strength, her faith in the Lord, and her prize-winning cornbread.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at The Aspen Assisted Living Facility and Silver Cross Health and Rehab, with a special thanks to Tara Pepper, RN, and Marjorie's cousin, Shelia Massey, for the love and care they showed her during her time at Silver Cross. They would also like to thank the Staff of Deaconess Hospice, especially their Account Executive, Morgan Boyd, and volunteer Kenneth Douglas, for the times they spent visiting with Marjorie and bringing a smile to her face.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mississippi chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or Zion Hill Baptist Church.
