Copiah County deputies, together with Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers, are actively seeking the public’s assistance in solving the murder of Floyd Alex Rosamond.
Authorities are appealing to anyone who may have information about the case to come forward, stressing that even small details could prove critical in bringing those responsible to justice.
Rosamond was found deceased on August 11, 2021, at his home on Earl Knight Road. Initially reported as a possible suicide, further investigation by law enforcement revealed evidence pointing to homicide, prompting a more in-depth inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death. Deputies have been reviewing leads and evidence but have yet to identify a suspect, making public tips essential.
Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest. Additionally, Rosamond’s family has pledged a $10,000 reward, reflecting their deep desire for answers and justice. Authorities emphasize that all tips can remain confidential.
