The retirement of Dr. Barbie Roberson as Wesson High School (WHS) principal has triggered changes in principals at both the high and elementary schools at Wesson Attendance Center (WAC).
Vanda Brister, who has served as the elementary school principal, moves into Roberson’s position and Ann Shelby Smith replaces her.
In other staff changes at WAC:
Andrew Bonner replaces Nick Kleppinger as assistant band director and music teacher,
Conner Crosby is the new soccer coach and will teach history.
Leanne Crosby replaces Michele Bland as computer science teacher.
Debbie Marler replaces Megan Logan as English teacher.
Kelly Izard is the new MTSS (support systems) coordinator for student interventions, replacing Ann Shelby Smith.
