Thursday, April 28, 2022 was a busy day for members of the Wesson Garden Club beginning with Wesson’s 51 Diner owners, Richard and Pam Skinner, honoring the Club with a delicious luncheon. The Skinners wanted to recognize and thank the members of the Garden Club for all their work and efforts in keeping the Town of Wesson looking beautiful. Upon entering the Diner, Garden Club members placed vases of flowers on each table.

The Club members then traveled to Buds and Blooms for a fun afternoon in the “Potting Shed” with owner, Donna Case. Donna taught a class on container gardening and gave lots of great gardening tips. Club members were assisted with plant selection as they filled their pots with beautiful annual and perennial flowers. Sonya Cowen and Joy Phillips won beautiful container gardens created by Donna.

It was truly a very enjoyable day with the delicious lunch and lots of fun and laughs in the Potting Shed. Thank you Richard and Pam Skinner and Donna Case for your hospitality.

The Wesson Garden Club is a member of the Natchez Trace District - Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc., The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
