Wesson Lions Club kicks off annual sweet potato fundraiser
Special to Wesson News

The Wesson Lions Club kicked off its annual sweet potato fundraiser Oct. 1, continuing a community tradition that has supported the organization's activities for approximately 15 years.
The club is selling 40-pound boxes of sweet potatoes for $20.
The annual fundraiser provides an opportunity for community members to purchase locally available produce while supporting the Lions Club's work.
To purchase sweet potatoes or for more information about the fundraiser, contact Alton Ricks at 601-643-2466.
The fundraiser has become a recurring part of the club's community activities, bringing residents together in support of its service efforts.
The Wesson Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, a service organization whose members support community projects and humanitarian efforts, including vision care, hunger relief and youth programs.
Proceeds from the annual sweet potato sale help support the club's activities and community service initiatives.
