The Wesson Cobras continued their unbeaten run Friday night, handling Franklin County with a steady performance that ended in a 34-19 victory. The win not only preserved Wesson’s perfect record but also extended their recent success over the Bulldogs, having come out on top in their last meeting as well.

Quarterback BP Robbins kept the offense moving, throwing for 114 yards and connecting for one touchdown. His favorite target of the night was Landon Cole, who hauled in 74 yards through the air and scored once to keep the Cobras in command.

The victory lifted Wesson to 3-0 on the season, giving the Cobras even more momentum heading into the next stretch of games. Franklin County, meanwhile, slipped to 1-2 after dropping their fifth straight road contest dating back to last year.

Both squads will look to regroup and build on their performances in front of their home fans this week. Wesson will host Lumberton at 7 p.m. on Friday, while Franklin County prepares to welcome Perry Central for a Friday night matchup of their own.
