Wesson rolls past Enterprise, remains unbeaten at 6-0

The Wesson Cobras continued their unbeaten start to the season Friday night, rolling past the Enterprise Yellowjackets 47-6 for their sixth consecutive victory.
The win also marked Wesson’s highest-scoring game of the season as the Cobras continued to build momentum heading into district play.
Senior quarterback Wesley Loy and senior running back B.P. Robbins led the way for Wesson.
Loy completed 10 of 13 passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns, completing 76.9% of his attempts. Robbins added 85 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.
Robbins’ three rushing touchdowns marked a season high for the senior.
The Cobras improved to 6-0 with the victory, maintaining their perfect record through the first six games of the season.
Enterprise fell to 4-2 following the loss. The Yellowjackets had won four consecutive games after ending a five-game losing streak that extended back to last season.
Both teams will return to the road Friday.
Wesson will travel to face Loyd Star in a 7 p.m. matchup, while Enterprise will travel to Bogue Chitto for a 7 p.m. game.
