Wesson Stays Perfect With Dominant Win Against Enterprise

by Charlie Rook

Wesson continued its undefeated start Friday night with another dominant performance, defeating Enterprise 47-6 at home.

The Cobras moved to 6-0 overall and 1-0 in region play with the victory. It was also the third straight game in which Wesson's defense held its opponent to six points or fewer.

Wesson has outscored its last three opponents 107-6, including shutout victories over Lumberton and Lawrence County before Friday's win over Enterprise.

The Cobras have found different ways to win throughout the season, including a 15-14 victory over Franklin County earlier in the year, but have been dominant over the last several weeks.

Wesson will try to keep its perfect season alive Friday, Oct. 9, when the Cobras travel to face Loyd Star.
