The 2026 Cobra yearbook staff of Wesson Attendance Center dedicated the 2026 Cobra yearbook to Mrs. Vanda Brister.

Brister is a graduate of Wesson Attendance Center, earned an Associate’s degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s degree from Mississippi College. She has been a dedicated educator since 2006, working in the Simpson County school district, as well as the Pearl Public School district before coming to Wesson.

Vanda Brister

At Wesson, she has served as an elementary classroom teacher, elementary principal and is in her first year as high school principal. Brister is married to her husband, Tyler, and is the mom to two boys, Tate and Mason.
