Wesson Garden Club (WGC)received The Garden Clubs of Mississippi Natchez Trace District 2021-2022 Club of the Year award at the district meeting in Raymond, Mississippi.
Carla Stringer, Natchez Trace District Director, also presented the club with an Honor Roll Club certificate of achievement and Certificate of Merit for its Scarecrow Challenge in which the club’s membership teams competed in fall decorating throughout the Wesson area. She also recognized the club for its overall contributions to The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc.
The Club also received the Youth Gardener Award and Youth Day Camp Award for its Butterbeans Youth Gardeners program.
