Co-Lin is one of the best colleges in the nation to work, according to the Great College to Work For program.
In all, 68 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported in a special insert. This is the sixth time Co-Lin has received the prestigious recognition based based on a survey of 212 colleges and universities.
“Co-Lin is truly a special place,” said Co-Lin President Dr. Jane Hulon Sims. “The Co-Lin family of dedicated faculty and staff members is what helps make Co-Lin The Place to Be.”
The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institution questionnaire that captured employment data and workplace policies from each institution, and a survey of faculty, administrators and professional support staff at the institutions. The primary factor in deciding whether an institution received recognition was employee feedback.
The Great Colleges to Work For program is one of the largest and most respected workplace-recognition programs in the country.
