“I’m glad Jesus never says, “This is the LAST time I’ll put you back together.” – Me praising God!
I shudder at the thought of all of the times I’ve been broken to my core and where I’d be if God hadn’t put me back together again and again… and again. Literally, more times than I can even count. Speaking from experience I can tell you three things I personally learned through my brokenness:
1.) Experiencing multiple bouts of brokenness was NECESSARY for my development and growth in Christ.
2.) Each occurrence changed a part of me that I would never want to go back to. It opened my eyes and my heart to God’s AMAZING plan for my life.
3.) The girl writing this to you today is who she is, no thanks to herself, but to Almighty God because I would’ve given up and quit ministry work all together a long time ago. But in singing, writing and loving on people like Jesus does and making sure they are reminded of that love in their darkest days…I FOUND MY PURPOSE. God gave me a very specific set of skills that I never in a MILLION years thought I would have when I was younger, in fact I would have laughed if someone would have told me. I was SOOOO shy! But if you know me now, you couldn’t tell that in the least.
If you know me now, you can see for yourself what God can do to someone who thinks they “CAN’T.” Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
