"Opening Ole Brook Kids: A New Pediatric Clinic in Brookhaven"

By the end of the month, nurse practitioners Kayla Thurman and Amber Martin plan to open a Brookhaven pediatric clinic -- Ole Brook Kids -- to treat fevers, coughs, acute illnesses, minor injuries and simple wounds. 

Dr. Darren Scoggin of Jackson will be their physician partner.  The clinic will be at 301-C U.S. 51 South.  For the last five years, Thurman and Martin have shared a small office space and worked closely together.  Martin and Thurman have 24 years and 11 years of pediatric experience respectively.
