Ballroom dancing

Making up for a shortage of men from the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR), Kaila Denton recruited players from the Co-Lin baseball team to help her teach some of the ILR ladies ballroom dancing. Denton, an instructor at Nena Smith School of Dance, is conducting a six-week course for ILR members who want to do better tripping the light fantastic. The classes are meeting on Wednesdays at the Thames Center at 11 a.m. Above, Denton looks on approvingly as the Co-Lin athletes and ILR ladies hone their skills on the dance floor.
