Brookhaven fuel stop

When the SpaceX Endeavour Crew Dragon spacecraft splashed down safely in the Gulf of Mexico last month, helicopters operated by Tim (left) and Brian (right) were there to meet it after a fuel stop at Lincoln County-Brookhaven (LC- B) Airport.

Tim brought Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken back from the Gulf to Pensacola, where they caught a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) jet to Houston. Brian's helicopter was there to back him up. On the Dragon, Behnken and Hurley returned from a 62-day space station stay during which they spent more than 100 hours working on science investigations and participating in four spacewalks. LC-B Airport Manager John Coleman says Tim and Brian like to drop off at the local facility to fuel up, and may make it a regular stop as NASA and SpaceX continue their launchings.
