Jason Barrett is new Mississippi Senator for District 39

Jason Barrett of Brookhaven was sworn in on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, by Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann as state senator of Mississippi Senate District 39.

Barrett, (R), an attorney, represents Copiah, Lawrence, Lincoln and Walthall counties. Sally Doty, who resigned, previously represented the area.
