Wesson Public Library has reopened in its old Spring Street location after a nearly year-long $444,000 rehabilitation and renovation that added another 1,000 square feet to its building, and included a new facade, remodeled interior and new book shelves, while making it accessibility compliant with American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
Over the past year, the library continued to serve the community in a temporary home at the Old School Community Center.
Mississippi Development Authority funded the renovation through ADA funding.
