The Garden Club's Dixie Thornton also led a ceremony with Legion Auxiliary members that recalled the sacrifices of veterans.
From left at wreath-laying and the ceremony were Alton Ricks, Paula Smith, Hank Smith, Suzanne Smith, who played taps in honor of soldiers who sacrificed their lives; Bobby Thornton, David Fore, Annie Wing, A.C. Currie, Dr. Stephen Liverman, Sonya Cowin, Debbie Hoaglin, Lisa Lusk, Langley, Debbie Smith, Marilyn Britt, Joy Westbrook, Deb Fore, Barbara Locke, Jennifer Peets, Thornton and Camile Johnson.
