Wesson Fastpitch Softball senior standout, Mallory Sanders, inked a scholarship today with the Longwood University Lancers out of Farmville, Virginia. Mallory will begin Longwood in the fall.
Mallory is a driving force for Wesson's fastpitch team both offensively and defensively. Last year, Mallory was chosen as Wesson's Fastpitch Softball Best Offensive Player of the Year, as well as, Best Defensive Player of the Year. She was also named All-Region in 7-3A. Mallory was also chosen to play in the MAC All-Star South Softball Game and was chosen as Most Valuable Player.
