Simpson CDL program is starting

Co-Lin is starting a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program at its Simpson County location with its first classes on March 25.

At an application day event on March 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, representatives of the program were on hand to meet with prospective students and to:

  • Discuss the program curriculum and career opportunities in the transportation industry.

  • Provide guidance and assistance with application procedures.

  • Answer any questions concerning the program and upcoming dates.

The Co-Lin CDL program equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill the 40-hour road-time requirement for obtaining a CDL license. The program fee is inclusive of instruction and one road test for licensure. Applicants must possess a valid CDL permit prior to the program start date.
